Here we are with two news for you!

 An interview with En World

Enworld is one of the most important tabletop role-playing game news and reviews website. They talked with Ilaria, one of our game designers, about Diamond Throne and about this campaign. It is a great opportunity to discover something more about the game and spread the voice about this campaign. We are so excited about it! We hope you will like the interview and find it interesting. AlphaDean is joining the Diamond Team and we're very happy to have him. Dean is one-third of the largest fan-run Cypher System discord group Cypher Unlimited. So, yes, you know him!

Let's let Dean tell us something about himself.

''I was but wee boy when I was first introduced to the world of gaming. Back in 1977 that my big brother gave me my first D&D set. Shortly thereafter, it was torrent of all things geeky and nerdy. My earliest memories are filled with a steady diet of sci-fi, fantasy, pulp, and comics. I consumed them with an enthusiastic thirst that seemed unquenchable. In those formative moments and years of life, my love for writing was born. All the while, I was gaming. D&D, Villains & Vigilantes, Star Frontiers, Gamma World, and Boot Hill are just a few of those early games that I cut my teeth on. I created extensive game worlds and planned decade-spanning campaigns. I’ve played every edition of D&D, and I’ve been playing with the Cypher System (Numenera) since 2013. Now, all these years later, I’m still doing it."

You can find items by Dean on Drivethrurpg through the Cypher Creator Program. His Heroic Essentials was a #1 seller on Drivethrurpg for the Cypher System. There is also the Umbral Earth which is all about bringing horror to the Cypher System. A mini-setting that brings were-creatures and history of the supernatural.

What a Great Day! Width of a Circle is complete!

Yes! You’ve done it: you’ve knocked out yet another stretch goal!

We’re really excited about this item—we know you’re going to love it and get great use out of it. If you’re backing at the Throne Servant and Throne Guard level, you’ll get the trilogy in PDF, and if you pledge at Throne Advisor and Throne Regent you'll in PDF AND PRINT! 

This is the last book of the first trilogy for Monte Cook's Diamond Throne. Christopher will be really busy to develop his adventure full of intrigues and mysteries in the big city of De-Shamod! Some secrets will remain hidden, and foul creatures still lurk in the shadows ... but this is the Diamond Throne.

A Great Week for the Diamond Throne! And today is the Boon Day 2!

What a great week we’ve had so far—and thanks to you it’s not over yet! 

We have unlocked 11 beautiful Stretch Goals so far, we've released a secret boon and, today, we have another Boon Day.

Yesterday was an amazing day! You have unlocked some fantastic art by Katerina Ladon and ... the GM screen!

We will now produce a high-quality GM screen filled with useful Diamond Throne-related GM info on one side, and fantastic Diamond art on the other. This three-panel, landscape-format screen will be printed on nice, heavy board stock, making it sturdy as well as beautiful.

The GM screen will also be available as a PDF and PRINT. Every backer will get the GM screen in PDF as part of their rewards, but Throne Advisor and Throne Regent will have it in PDF and in PRINT.

The GM screen in print is now available as an add-on. To get it, select the Manage Your Pledge button on the right-hand side of the Kickstarter page and increase your pledge by $20. After the campaign closes, we’ll be using a service called BackerKit to collect your information, and at that time you’ll specify what you’ve paid that extra $20 for.

 What is a Boon and how does it work?

Your contribution is special. Pledging and staying with us would benefit the entire KS campaign and we know that! So, all of you who have already pledged would receive a magic boon.

Boons are PDF exclusive gifts, reserved to all current backers in the campaign at the moment they are revealed. 

If you are a backer on a day indicated, you will have access to a special link and you can download your boon. The link will be deactivated after 48 hours and will only be visible to those who are already in the campaign at the time of each special event.

John Snead will join the Diamond Team!

We are proud to announce that John Snead will join the Diamond Team!

John Snead is a star. John has been a full time freelance game designer for 20 years and has written more than a dozen published magic systems. They also developed the idea for and wrote much of the romantic fantasy RPG Blue Rose, and created and wrote the Mythras urban fantasy supplement After the Vampire Wars and the Chaosium RPG Lords of the Middle Sea. They have written extensively for Mindjammer, Ars Magica, Exalted, the recent Conan RPG, Changeling: The Lost, Mage: The Awakening, and many other games. John Snead is also the developer for Onyx Path Publishing's upcoming science fiction game Trinity Continuum: Æon.
